He put this directory together so people in Hawaii can see the local life insurance agents in one place and call the ones that fit.

Why this directory exists

I spent years in corporate marketing before I started building my own websites. Most of them are about insurance, and most of what I build starts with the numbers: what people search for, and what they find when they do.

When I looked at how people in Hawaii find a life insurance agent, the results were scattered. The local agents were hard to compare side by side. You could not easily see who speaks Japanese or Ilocano, who handles annuities, or who works on your island.

So I put every life insurance agent and office I could find in Hawaii in one place, with what each one says it offers and how its clients rate it. The directory is free to use and free for agents to be listed. I do not sell insurance and I do not tell anyone what to buy. The goal is simple: help you find a few local agents worth calling, then let you decide.

How listings are vetted

Every listing starts from public business records and Google Maps for Hawaii. We keep insurance offices that are open and have at least one review. We merge duplicates and drop offices that have closed.

Then we read each agent's own website and note what it says they offer: life insurance, term or whole life, annuities, final expense, and the languages spoken. Agents whose sites say they sell life insurance come first in each city. The rest follow. We do not check licenses or rates, so confirm both with the agent.

Right now that is 138 life insurance agents in 16 Hawaii cities, last refreshed 2026-10-16.

Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, or you want your business removed, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
